Hybrid role with two days in Newbury, Berkshire
Salary: £22,000 pa

As an agency focused on delivering value to automotive technology companies, you’ll be reasonably familiar with the marketplace as well as being across core PR disciplines – there will be some rolling up of your sleeves to get involved in everything from media pitching to writing press releases and creating targeted media lists.

Our clients are endlessly fascinating, helping to electrify the auto industry, power it with hydrogen tech or harness AI to power new, exponential ways of doing things.

We are looking for a PR graduate that is excited about trailblazing these pioneering companies. But you’ll also learn some old-school skill sets including competence and enthusiasm to pitch to media, knowing how to find a story amid piles of complicated tech, drafting press releases and storyboarding a social video.

Who are you?
This new role is ideal for someone aspiring to build a career in Public Relations and Social Media. By taking care of a variety of specialist industry software tools, you will become conversant with all of the foundational workflows in the communications industry, from developing press lists, issuing press releases, helping to pitch to journalists, managing monthly reporting on social media engagement for clients to the movement of digital audiences onto client websites and apps.

This is a role that will suit a digital native with skills in using SaaS tools and a curiosity to maximise the digisation of communications workflows. To support our PR and digital teams, you will be precise and committed to ensuring our content output on behalf of our clients is accurate, approved and timely.

You will also have an interest in data and how to present audience, coverage and engagement information back to clients in a way that cuts through jargon and helps to inform those without expert knowledge.

Above all you’ll be enthusiastic and keen to learn as well as aiming to put all of your degree learnings into practice. As coordinator of all of our intelligence gathering and organisation you’ll be super-organised and a great communicator. Teamwork is of the utmost importance but we will also want you to show initiative and speak up if you can think of a better way to do something.
