Challenge

The FIA World Rally Championship generates an uninterrupted flow of news across multiple continents, time zones and competitive events. Supporting millions of digital users requires editorial content that is technically accurate, engaging and delivered to broadcast deadlines.
The championship needed an experienced partner capable of integrating immediately into an established international production operation, without the learning curve often associated with external agencies.

Approach

GroupWhistle provided on-event and remote editorial support for WRC.com, identifying, researching and producing news, features and live event coverage throughout the championship calendar.
Our team brought first-hand experience from every corner of the sport, including directors who had held senior communications roles within factory World Rally Championship teams, alongside editors and journalists responsible for television, digital and live event content production. That practical experience meant we understood the pace, pressures and editorial standards of a world championship environment from day one.
Working alongside WRC Promoter, Red Bull Media House, photographers, television crews and championship stakeholders, we helped produce the daily editorial output that kept the championship’s global audience informed and engaged.
