- Prevail Partners to deliver Ukrainian-developed Unit Range platform, providing continuous critical resilience and protection for UK organisations
Prevail Partners, a leading UK defence and security company, today announced a strategic collaboration with Ukrainian cyber defence experts Cyber Unit Technologies. The partnership brings a class-leading and war-proven cyber resilience capability to the defence of corporate Britain and the wider public sector.
The partnership directly supports the UK-Ukraine 100-Year Partnership framework and reflects the shared objective set out by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer to deepen cooperation in advanced defence technologies and cyber resilience.
Following a series of high-profile attacks on UK businesses, the UK National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) recently issued an urgent call to action for companies to strengthen their cyber defences against the growing wave of state-sponsored and criminal cyber activity.
Cyber Unit’s battle-tested technology meets this challenge. Developed amid real world conflict, its core platform, Unit Range, has analysed and replicated more than 500 cyber incidents attributed to the Russian state and affiliated actors, as well as other state-sponsored and criminal groups. Built on live combat data, Unit Range delivers unmatched realism in cyber simulation, threat emulation and training to enable organisations to safely experience and learn from complex and next generation attacks in controlled environments.
Prevail Partners will serve as the primary UK integrator for enterprise and government clients, while Cyber Unit will provide technical IP alongside training and advisory expertise. The fusion of Cyber Unit’s frontline operational experience with Prevail’s national security credentials delivers a UK-compliant, out-of-the-box management and training platform that offers accessible and targeted training across all roles within an organisation.
The collaboration offers a cyber-range and resilience-training capability designed for both private and public sector organisations. Services include the delivery of custom-built cyber security projects and ongoing programmes covering consulting, comprehensive audits and practical resilience exercises grounded in real-world operational experience. These exercises address emerging threats such as AI-driven attacks and disinformation, helping organisations of every scale – from growing SMEs to major enterprises and government institutions – to build resilience fit for the realities of modern hybrid warfare.
Justin Hedges OBE, Prevail Partners’ Chairman said, “Our 50-strong team in Ukraine has witnessed first-hand the extraordinary pace at which technology is evolving under the pressures of conflict. Cyber Unit embodies this transformation, a capability refined in the crucible of real cyber warfare and proven against state-level threats. As the UK contends with rising cyber aggression, Unit Range offers a credible, ready-now solution to strengthen the resilience of our national and corporate digital infrastructure.”
Dr Yegor Aushev, CEO of Cyber Unit Technologies (Ukraine), added, “Our technologies have been forged in the most intensive cyber conflict in modern history. This partnership ensures that our frontline experience translates into protection for allied networks, critical infrastructure and commercial systems, building stronger digital defence and continuous resilience.”
Unit Range has been deployed in the protection of Ukraine’s national infrastructure and defence operations, recognised at the Kyiv International Cyber Resilience Forum. In addition to supporting a variety of private and public sector clients, Cyber Unit has supported over 30 Ukrainian critical infrastructure organisations.
Drawing on its pre-war presence in Ukraine, Prevail Partners continues to serve as a key conduit for battlefield-tested innovation entering the UK market. The company recently announced a joint venture with Skyeton to manufacture Ukraine’s category-defining UAS in the UK, providing further evidence of its long-term commitment to the UK-Ukraine technology partnership.
