Europcar and vMobility have launched vHire, a new vehicle replacement service designed for the UK insurance sector. GroupWhistle supported the proposition development and go-to-market strategy.
In February, our events team was in London to support Europcar and vMobility bring vHire to market, a new digitally-enabled vehicle replacement service designed for the UK insurance sector.
GroupWhistle worked with both organisations to define the positioning and shape a commercially focused narrative. Messaging centred on cost control, operational visibility and improved claims outcomes, ensuring the offer was grounded in insurer priorities.
The service provides an end-to-end digital claims journey, including real-time tracking, integrated repair coordination and customer communication. It is designed specifically for insurance workflows rather than adapted from consumer hire models.

To support the launch, GroupWhistle developed campaign assets and helped deliver a targeted event at London’s F1 Arcade. With a special guest appearance by F1 commentator Martin Brundle, the event connected the vHire proposition with the precision and teamwork associated with Formula 1, with attendees taking part in simulator challenges and product demonstrations.
