Thatcham Research Empowering the repair sector through EV learning and support

Challenge:

With the number of EVs on the UK’s roads increasing rapidly, repairers need to know how to handle these vehicles safely. Thatcham Research tasked GroupWhistle to develop and manage a national campaign to promote its ‘EV Ready’ training programme to the repair sector.

The campaign needed to do two things: engage repair businesses by pointing out the EV challenges they face, before then illustrating how Thatcham Research is the ideal partner to deliver the ‘EV Ready’ training they need to protect their business and staff.

Solution:

As this was the first time Thatcham Research had gone to market with its EV training and repair methods product, we started by developing an overarching EV proposition to ensure a consistent narrative was used from the outset.

We then created a series of compelling messages about the EV Ready solutions and benefits provided by Thatcham Research, before moving on to develop a distinctive creative concept for the campaign that would be true to Thatcham’s brand identity – but stand out in its own right.

Our campaign helped Thatcham Research to successfully commercialise its ‘EV Ready’ product and spanned multiple channels and formats across web, social, photography, video, animation, infographics, sales decks, trade advertising, events, and PR.
